Morgan Begin

Morgan comes to WDS from Primrose Hill School in Rhinebeck where she served as the Lead Teacher for 4th grade. As part of her work there, she integrated nature and the arts into daily lessons to bring classroom material to life and connected material to real world experiences. Morgan also worked as a graduate intern at both Broadfields Primary School in London (Year 6 – Grade 5 equivalent) and at O’Connell Elementary School in Connecticut (Grade 5). She also has experiencing working with infants through her work at Southeast Elementary School in Connecticut. 

Morgan holds a BS in Elementary Education with a concentration on science and an MA in Curriculum and Instruction, both from the University of Connecticut. During her studies there she studied abroad in London and completed an inquiry project on the perceptions of teacher stress and the evolving role of school leaders due to COVID-19. While at the University of Connecticut, Morgan also coordinated fundraising initiatives to benefit children in the local community. She holds a Connecticut teacher certification for grades 1-6.
