Maryann Larson

Maryann comes to WDS with years of experience working with children of all ages. During her career, she has held many roles in the world of education – a teacher of Pre-K through 5th grade, a director of an early childhood center in NYC, a summer camp director, head of extended day programming at an independent school in Philadelphia, head of family programming at Starr Library in Rhinebeck, the children’s programmer at Wethersfield Garden & Estate, and a forest school teacher with Mid-Hudson Outdoor Homeschool Co-op.
Maryann holds a BA in Elementary Education and an MA in Early Childhood Education & Curriculum, both from American University in Washington, DC. She also holds NYS certifications in Pre-K, Kindergarten, and Grades 1-6 as well as NYS certification in School Administration and Supervision. Her post graduate work includes certifications at Hunter College and Sarah Lawrence College.
