Moxham has moved into an administrative role following her 15 years of teaching at WDS. She has taught; Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Algebra II Trig, Intermediate Algebra (non-collegiate and collegiate), College Algebra (non-collegiate and collegiate), College Algebra & Trigonometry (non-collegiate and collegiate), Pre-calculus (non-collegiate and collegiate), Calculus I (non-collegiate and collegiate), and Calculus II (non-collegiate only). Moxham began her teaching career at Rondout Valley High School where she taught for four years.
With Tim Sutton, Heidi has co-taught the Project Seminar class, which prepares the seniors for their end of the year presentations. She has worked closely with others over the past several years to solidify our senior program, and worked alongside those who have helped with the college process.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in Curriculum, Assessment and Instruction.
A proficient athlete, Moxham enjoys volleyball, track and field and cross-country. When physically healthy Moxham participates in a few local adult volleyball leagues and also has competed in the Empire State Games for track and field. Most recently she has become an avid Spartan racer with her husband, loves to stay physically fit, and most of all spending time with her four legged kids.
