Grace Carter

Grace Carter will be joining WDS as Early Childhood and Lower School Science Teacher for the 2022-23 school year. 

Grace recently worked as both a student teacher and a substitute teacher in the Red Hook School District for life science, physical science, and living environment classes. She recently graduated from the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Bard College where she specialized in the teaching of science. Grace holds a NYS Teaching Certificate in grades 7-12 biology and is working towards her general science certification. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology, also from Bard College. 

Grace enjoys being involved in community activities. While at Bard, she founded the Wellness Club and a Food Pantry.
