Gerald Charles

Gerald (Jerry) Charles served as the Director of Operations at Castle Hill Rehab and Medical Services for 15 years. In that role, he was involved in strategic planning, served as project manager for a medical records system, and oversaw operations and contracts for a wide range of providers. Jerry’s experience includes working as a Sales Lead for Classtag (a tech start-up that connects parents and teachers), as a Product Specialist at Ducati NYC, and as Account Manager at Gist Digital. 

Jerry was a graduate and ambassador of the Startup Institute where he recruited and onboarded prospective students for a 3-month start-up career accelerator program specializing in coding, programming, and marketing. For more than 5 years, Jerry has served as a mentor and fundraiser for Harlem Lacrosse, tutoring high school students at the Frederick Douglas Academy in Spanish, English literature, and the sciences.

Jerry graduated with a BA from Haverford College and speaks French, Creole, and Spanish.
