Emily Maurer

Emily Maurer will be joining WDS as Teaching Assistant (Floater, Aftercare and Childcare) for the 2022-2023 school year.

Emily was a farm education intern at Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School where she taught farm and garden classes to first to sixth graders. At the Audubon Naturalist Society, she taught ecology, biology and environmentalism to first and second graders. Most recently she was a baker at Bartlett House and previously a communications and fund raising assistant at Coalition for Smarter Growth. 

She received a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Policy, with a minor in Spanish from University of Maryland.
