Head 4th Grade Teacher

Callie joined Woodstock Day School in 1998 as the combined 3rd/4th grade teacher. She became the 4th grade teacher and added the role of Lower School Coordinator in 2016 and then became Lower School Director in 2021. For the 2022-2023 school year, Callie will continue as Lower School Director and also return to the classroom as Head 4th Grade Teacher.

Prior to joining WDS, Callie taught for four years at Mid-Hudson Music Together in New Paltz and also spent time teaching at Duzine Elementary School in New Paltz and Beekman Elementary School in Poughquag (NY).

Callie holds a Bachelor’s degree with certification in Elementary Education from Vassar College and a Master’s degree in Elementary and Environmental Education from SUNY New Paltz. She is certified in Nursery through Grade 6 elementary education in New York State and attended programs in Student Teaching in Primary School at Oxford University in England and the Leadership Program in Discrete Mathematics at Rutgers University. She is currently pursuing a Certificate in School Management and Leadership at Harvard University.

Callie lives in New Paltz with her husband and daughter.
