Alyssa comes to WDS after holding positions as the Education Director/Co-Executive Director at Phillies Bridge Farm Project and as the School Programs Manager at Historic Huguenot Street. At Phillies Bridge Farm Project, Alyssa’s responsibilities included managing field trips for K-12 students, writing curriculum for STEAM-centered after school programs, running the STEAM-centered summer Farm Camp and Nature Nursery Morning Program, maintaining the farm’s education programs, and building partnerships with local school districts, parents, and community partners.  At Historic Huguenot Street, she wrote curriculum for the Little Huguenots after school program and the Camp Huguenot summer camp and built a variety of school experiential educational programs, both in-person and virtual. Alyssa is also experienced in writing grants, managing budgets, marketing, and social media.

Alyssa holds a BA in Secondary Education and English from SUNY New Paltz where she minored in creative writing, and an NYS Initial Teaching Certification in English (7-12).
