Why did you choose your particular school/gap year/job?

I am going to Ithaca College next year to work towards a bachelor in science degree in Communications Management and Design at the Park School of Communications.

Why did you choose your particular school/gap year/job?

I choose to attend Parsons school of Design in the Fall of 2020. I choose to major in Industrial design because my whole life I’ve been deeply intrigued by all aspects of design and I want to be a self made entrepreneur from my product conceptions.

How long have you been at WDS?

I stepped onto the Woodstock Day School campus nine years ago as a small, nervous, blond headed boy with hair covering my eyes. Nine years later, I am a confident, well connected, young man, and I could not be more thankful for that decision.

Why did you choose your particular school/gap year/job?

I was one of a handful of students to receive a merit scholarship from Mount Holyoke which I am so grateful for, and which I think was in part because of the work I have done at WDS through my senior project

What did you learn at WDS that you feel prepared you for this next step?

WDS has taught me to be self-motivated, to advocate for myself, and to pursue the things I love. It has allowed me to explore my passions such as music, environmental protection, and working with children.

Any advice for the Class of 2021?

If I were to give any advice to the class of 2021 it would be to enjoy your last year here and not take this time for granted. It may seem like a long work filled year but it’s all worth it.

I am going to SUNY New Paltz to study film because it is what I am most interested in, and I want to continue making movies in college. Afterwards I want to eventually take over my families chocolate business.
