Our Board & Community
Our Faculty
Our teachers provide a nurturing atmosphere in classrooms and beyond, building bonds with young people that often last long after graduation. Their commitment to excellence can be seen in the quality of work produced by students, as well as the process of developing those projects through meaningful activities and assignments, often influenced by student interest.
The element which truly makes WDS special is, of course, our teachers.
Board of Trustees
The purpose of the Board of Trustees is to support the mission of the school and to ensure its fiscal perpetuity.
Our Parent Association
The Parent Association is comprised of volunteers that meet monthly, and work collaboratively with school administration to support the needs of the faculty and school. Class parents also serve as support for the school, especially around communication and helping with school-wide events.
WDS asks that all parents dedicate 25 volunteer hours per school year. This arrangement encourages parents to participate in all aspects of school life, including chaperoning lunch, driving on field trips, cleaning and caring for school grounds, teaching intensives, and more.
