Early Childhood Experience
We scaffold social and emotional dimensions to learning through staples like Circle Time, Morning Meetings, Friday Gatherings, Buddies, the Tribes program and advisories. Doing this ensures that older children interact with younger ones on a regular basis.
We get to know every student. We make sure that they feel valued, understood and connected to the school community.
We spend time designing programs that weave relationships: safe, authentic and supportive relationships between teachers and students, and between the students themselves. We teach children to think, to feel, and to play. To learn through unstructured playtime. By doing this important work, we give students the tools they need to advocate for themselves and contribute to the larger community.
We value play. Our students have ample time to play outside, form strong friendships and experience the joy of being fully immersed in their learning environment.
