Celebrate Robin

Join us as we celebrate the magnificent career of Robin Shepley – Shornstein, WDS Librarian for over 24 years.

Besides the celebration for Robin, we will be hosting our traditional Harvest Fest potluck meal for the WDS community – a WDS favorite.

It is our way to share a meal and get to know each other and enjoy the start of the school year and fall season.

WDS Class Division Suggested Potluck Dishes:

  • Nursery School- Grade 2:  SIDE DISH
  • Grades 3 – 6:  DESSERT
  • Grades 7 – 10: MAIN DISH
  • Grades 11 – 12: Beverages and/or MAIN or SIDE DISH

Please bring a dish that you and your family would enjoy.

For example, a pot of chili, or a pan of lasagna are ideal choices for the potluck. A side dish could be a large salad, rice dish, or a platter of roasted vegetables (all just suggestions as you may have a favorite).

Remember to bring your own plates and silverware and leave with what you brought in (hopefully empty pans!)

If you would like, please bring your own picnic blanket for the evening as seating may be limited.

The brief ceremony for Robin will be between 5:30 pm to 6 pm.

Inyo, the WDS Ceramics teacher will be selling some of her own ceramics pieces.

It is a warm community evening and we hope you can attend.
